At ListenLoop (https://www.listenloop.net), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

ListenLoop does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and we do not ask for your name or email address to use any lesson, guide, or feature on the site.

1. Information We Collect

  • Lesson progress, stored only in your browser. When you complete a lesson, a small record is saved in your browser's local storage so completed lessons show a checkmark. This data never leaves your device and is not linked to any identity. Clearing your browser data removes it.
  • Non-personal usage information. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand which lessons and guides are most useful: browser type, device category, pages visited, and aggregate usage patterns. This does not identify you personally.
  • Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, and use them only to reply.

3. Cookies and Advertising

ListenLoop is funded by advertising. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to display ads based on users' visits to this and other websites. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), a Google-certified consent message lets you choose between personalized and non-personalized ads before any advertising cookies are used. You can also opt out of personalized ads at any time via Google Ads Settings.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database hosting for our lesson content (no user data is stored there)
  • Google — analytics and advertising
  • YouTube and SoundCloud — embedded media players for lesson videos and audio, which may set their own cookies when you play media

These providers handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

We do not maintain user accounts or server-side profiles. Lesson progress lives only in your browser and is under your control. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

Under the GDPR and LGPD you have the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
